Angelina Fanous, diagnosed in July 2014 at age 29.
Angelina Fanous is a writer and editor for VICE. She was diagnosed with ALS two months after her 29th birthday in July 2014. She’ll be following the sunshine around the globe starting with a trip to Bali in December 2014, and hopes to be reincarnated as an octopus, a species that lacks a spinal cord.
Angelina wrote about the ALS #icebucketchallenge for Vice here.

We invite Angelina to contact us. We are scientists and doctors working voluntarily. After seven years working on ALS we have a very limited amount of a new drug which we finance ourselves and we never ask for money.
Hi Angelina,
My husband Scott and I watch Vice regularly. Scott has been living with ALS for 14 years. He is a working writer. He would be happy to share with you how he has continued to work for so many years.
Hello my mother has ALS, Richard i would like to know what drug you are referring to and Ann if you could contact me and let me know what your husband has been doing that would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
Erin
